It shows a different way of looking at hunting. It doesn't necessarily tell you anything about Grainne's feelings about human life. She might be horrified at cruelty to both humans AND animals (and in fact I think she is and she has SAID she is)- only she might have a different way of expressing it. But you are unable to contemplate that. For you it's all defined in terms of you having a different "level" of concern compared to "her". It's all about her "minimizing" the loss of human life. Unfortunately, I think you are just wrong- which leads to your stupid needling of Grainne over something that isn't even true about her. Grainne has an emotional reaction to "hunters" and "hunting" that has nothing to do with her compassion for "people". You are clearly personalizing the whole thing, feel you are a "better" person than she is, and will never get what she was really trying to say.
