Of course I would, but you have to look at where Bush Jr. comes from. Bush Sr. and Laura are salt of the earth people. I used to live in Texas when Bush Jr. was governor and he was very popular. I don't always agree with what he does, but he has a good heart and he does what he thinks is right.

Now Cheney is another matter altogether. That guy is a puppetmaster if ever there was one. Rumsfeld is nothing more than an attack dog. He's clever enough in his way, but the real clever one is Cheney.

Bush is nothing like Putin. Putin is on a personal tour to consolidate power and return a little bit of KGB glory to himself and his cronies. Bush isn't on a powergrab. He's just doing things the Texas way, which is to cut through the bullshit and go the shortest distance between two lines. Unfortunately, this is a nuanced world and his approach isn't the way to maximize our standing and influence in the world.

Cheney on the other hand is almost exactly like Putin. He's out to return the U.S. to a Cold War mentality and he's been a hell of a lot more successful at it than Putin.
