Apparently Michael Schiavo doesn't have to pay Terri's medical bills, she's allegedly indigent and her bills are being picked up by Medicaid.

But that's not what I meant by a conflict of interest, although it could be. If, for example, a spouse or parent expressed the desire to "pull the plug" because the bills were too high, would you not agree that this made their judgment suspect?
