longnshort, that's hard to say. They say the part of her brain that has been destroyed is also the part that feels pain. I understand she has, over the years, been given pain medicine for menstrual discomfort.

I know also that pain medicine/narcotics/anesthesia is given to organ donors following death (obviously), because there can be post mortem neuromuscular movements during surgical removal of their organs. - Holly
