CB, The length of time it will take for her to die, has nothing to do with how healthy she was, or not. A similar situation happened with my Mother, and even in failing health, according to 3 doctors, it took over 10 days for her to die. What causes the longevity is in the chemical make up of the body, and the mind has nothing to do with it. That is not my thinking, but that of the doctors that had treated her for 8 years.

Yes, I mentioned that this AM to my husband. Her body was certainly healthy, that's for sure.

<<Does anybody besides me think it's remarkable that this woman has lived for ten days without food or water? It only goes to show how healthy she was to begin with.>>

My mother in law was a Christian Science person, no medication, she had a root canal done with no novocaine. She also spent all her time reading the Bible and moved less in a month than most people do in a day. She also got large with no muscle mass and went to a nursing home when she was 65.

A few weeks later she had a massive stroke and was in a coma, no IV or anything. She lasted almost a month with no food or water and the last week she was inhaling and letting gravity do the exhaling. When she died she was skin and bones. My wife almost went nuts going to the nursing home every evening.

I just mentioned the same thing to the wife about 10 minutes ago.
