TC,
I found the location of the trojan. There is an activex plugin from a charting program called barcharts/CBOT that launchs everytime I launch a certain trading platform. I decided to run a scan before and after I let the installation update run, and that was where it was hiding. It is not in the activex program folder so I am going to uninstall the trading platform and reinstall it.

Thanks for the help,
Steve

Well that was a disaster. I'm using my old computer.
I un-installed the barchart/CBOT activex from the control panel add/remove programs. After a reboot, my cpu usage was stuck at 100%, and no programs would launch. I tried to boot in safe mode, but the computer locked up. I need to get to safe mode so I can do a system restore, but the screen fills up with junk, and the system locks up. Any suggestions?
