All I know is I read about it at least a couple of times. So I guess it is not a lie. The stories I read said that it was during the time when US airspace was closed. The only explanations I have heard that say it was not during that time sound to me like apologist legalizing. I know you don't care about whether I believe you or not, but I can't fail to notice you haven't substantiated your facts.

Michael Moore turned out to be right. You should have listened instead of criticizing it for partisan reasons. Look at how much you pay for gasoline now? And remember what Bush promised in 2000, that he would jawbone OPEC to bring down energy prices. Bush also defeated the Kerry-McCain fuel efficiency bill which would have ben great for US automakers, consumers and the environment. Criminal negligence and corruption is at the heart of Bush's regime. They need to be brought to justice when we elect a new congress next year.
