Amazing how you can excerpt from a FT article, wrap it in BS, and the right wing extremists in America prematurely start pounding their backs again.

The FT article plays it straight: Some politician THINKS they might want to quit.

What tipped me was the use of the word surrender in the 2nd sentence. Anyone with half a brain knows the insurgents will never surrender ... if they quit, they would just stop fighting and we would never know who they were.
