They have given her a complete ride for their 5 year Master's program. She will be going to school year round with either 2 or 3 semesters of paid coop included. She will be one of the first students to be accepted into the bioengineering program which is being added this fall. Currently they have programs in Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Industrial and Mechanical Engineering. I think what sold her was the new $42 million dollar research building they are about finished with that will support the new program. The facility will contain a 10,000 sq. ft. clean room for MENS and nano-techniology which will be one of the top in the country. Currently they are using a 1,500 sq. ft. Class 100 Clean room. mitghmr.spd.louisville.edu mitghmr.spd.louisville.edu Now she wants to know if I am going to give her the money that will be refunded from the prepaid state tuition program.<g> I am still thinking about it. >>BTW, my daughter is wheeling and dealing, trying to come home this weekend.
