Bush's plan is to bankrupt the US Treasury. When people are desperate, they will do anything and he wants to eliminate ALL entitlement programs, take out all safety nets and push the US of A back to the 1920s. He's trying to kill SS but he's gleefully watching Medicare/Medicaid go bankrupt. He's already trying to transfer more funds away from mothers and children to the ultrawealthy. Just wait. It won't be long until the Republican Talking Points begin the drumbeats of 'we can't afford' this program and that program. He can hasten things along by declaring yet another war. ====== Hey. Nice that the US taxpayer built some very nice stables for Saddam's Arabians. We are such a generous people.

You can say Clinton era started the recession. The dollar was way over valued. Its a matter of time before you start seeing the trade deficit start to shrink. You had 9/11, corporate scandals, recession. You think raising taxes would of stopped the recession? Bush eliminated capital gains taxes among other taxes. I wish my government would get rid of my capital gains tax(Canada). Never use to hear about Democracy in these 2nd and 3rd worlds until recently :) People are beginning to rally( they are getting the balls to stand up to dictators). Why do you think that is :) If this was pre Bush, Syria would of crushed the protest! Actually there never would of been a protest. United Nations would of handled it. The report comes out in 2007 :)
