i can understand why it has happened as we have moved essentially up or sideways for two years with no major pain along the way. volatility all but disappeared due to the unidirectional movement. i have learned the hard way that things change and there are two very different and specific brands of TA for an uptrend and a downtrend. it will be a great oppty for me to study the psychology of the markets as these permabulls get a dose of the bear. about the time they throw in the cards ill be getting long. that is unless we crater now as i am long and about two weeks late in getting a bounce to short (ng)
