What about the center? Bushies are rightwing, but the leaders I support are mainly in the center. Even Kerry is near the center despite the lies of the rightwing campaigners in 2004. In fact there are very few leftwingers left in power anywhere outside the locasl level.

Centrist-progressives and honest moderate-conservatives like Hagel and Lugar are the only ones who can unite this nation and fix Bush's mess. So if you're a Republican, vote only for moderates. Otherwise the Bushies will get away with huge corruption and take real individual freedom down with them.

Agreed.

But you need the right to get the economy going.
Then you get the Dems to move in and take the credit :)

Democrats are far better for the economy than Republicans because Republicans both spend more and tax less. Republicans also erode the spending power of the middle class and devastate the poor. This is very unhealthy for our economy, not to mention immoral and against the teachings of Jesus whom the rightwing claim to believe in more than the left.

The Republicans need wars to make an excuse for their spending. Bush's real running mate is Osama Bin Lauden, not cheney. Osama gave Bush all the excuses he need to spend us into the poor house. Then he refuses to tax the rich so you get hit by a double whammy. I admit the rich and investor class are better off under Bush. But no one else is. No one. Under CLinton though, everyone but gas gougers and arms dealers were better off.
