We use our living room every day. It's the dining room that only gets used a few times a year, for the over flow.

What I want is half the downstairs as a kitchen area. Big 'ol fireplace, two viking gas ovens, two sub zero refrigs/freezers An island that has a big ass sink in it. The island should be big enough to seat ten people around it and have a rolling station for my baking. A wine cooler with enough room for my beer. Two comfortable sofas, a coffee table and some stuffed chairs. The floor would be bamboo.

That would be my idea of a great start to a house. The rest of the rooms I don't give a care about. We spend most of our time in and around our kitchen. The living room is open to the kitchen which is why we're there so much. The dining room is a waste of time, should be incorporated into the kitchen.
