Speaking more than one language is a sign of intelligence, imo. For some reason the modern-day right winger has acquired a disrespect for education and learning. George BushRove has taken advantage of that with its make-believe cornpone pronounciations and mannerisms ("nukular" and crap like that). It has made a virtue out of idiocy. Naturally those who do not believe that idiocy is a virtue are in a much better position to make informed decisions.
