That's the way I see it although I don't think that's universal for those on Michael's side. I come at it both from a libertarian perspective and from a personal fear of getting stuck in an unbearable life without the facility to get out of it. There are much worse things than being dead.

I think it's absurd that suicide is illegal and I heartily support the decriminalization of suicide by proxy.
