Yes, you reassure her about that, but concurrently, by doing so, you increase her concern that you won't kill her if she does ask you to. We have to take care of both sides of the question, methinks.

I'd hand her a big old bottle of morphine and a glass of water and let her conscience be her guide.

And you could be prosecuted for doing so. I'd like to change that.
