The US has a legacy of international education -- much of it is still intact, although for how long we can't say. In comparison to the gross waste of resources on misguided military intervention, the relative emphasis on education has been pushed way down on the agenda. And when the Administration does weigh in -- propaganda seems to be their focus rather than education. That does not play well with educated people.
