Carolyn, Sorry to hear that about Gaslight Square. So much of what that city tried to do to bring about revitalization quickly fell into decay.

Ah, the Playboy Club. I was acquainted with a couple of the bunnies. They were working their way through college and doing quite well. Funny thing, though, if you were to cross their paths on campus, you might find them attractive, but certainly not head-turners, and you would not have recognized them while they were at work in the club. Amazing what some makeup and other accouterments
can accomplish. <g>

One night, a bunch of us planned to meet at the Playboy club for drinks and dinner. My date's car was in the shop, so we had to take mine--a '55 Canadian Pontiac. My date was so embarrassed at the thought of my car, "all blue and chrome and blah--and old!" meeting up with valet parking at the snooty club, he insisted I park it a couple of blocks over. - Holly
