i have been using a Media Center Extender for about six weeks now. i think it's a great DVR. aside from excellent performance, how nice that it doesn't have any usage fees. now MSFT is going to build the Extender into the Xbox360, so imo it will be a Trojan horse DVR competing with cableco DVRs and the likes of Tivo.
