You should sing the same song about HP sans printers.

JMHO.

BTW, Sun could buy NCR, and maybe they should.

JMHO.

All I said was that under certain circumstances HP *might* buy some servers from Sun if IBM doesn't beat them to it. Height of arrogance?

You ain't fair and balanced, R2. I have made many posts derogating Sun, their management, their lack of profitability, and their lack of products. I've often met with reproof for same from some of our friends here. You of course let those posts pass without comment.

I do in fact believe that Sun's game is most likely over, and have said so often, and you've seen it. However, I AM waiting to see if Bechtolsheim can bring out a product--because he is an exceptional genius--before I'm willing to definitively close the books as you have. In my opinion Schwartz and McNealy are only semi-relevant at this point. They've already demonstrated pretty conclusively what they can do.

If that's the height of arrogance, then call me arrogant.

You were bear first, but you're not a soothsayer, and I'm no JC-style booster.
