I expect that whatever the Iraqi's decide will be trumped by the Americans and their 150,000 occupying army.

NOBODY, but card-carrying Bushist crapola GOP HACKS buys this crapola about "freeing" the Iraqi people. The only freedom the Iraqi are going to have is freedom from control of their vast oil wealth. Let's see: invade, rape, maim, torture, shoot, detain the innocent locals and free them from their oil!

Why isn't President Chimp speaking out re. the situation in Darfur (100,000's dead there)?

Just look at US, Australia, Ukraine, India; these countries have held their elections recently. They formed their Govt. soon after the elections ended.

In Iraq the haggling goes on. And after they come to an agreement, my prediction is that there will be violence in parliament since that is how they deal with things over there. Saddam was just one facet of that culture.
