the future of the server computer is in china..eventually, because of server buidling blocks, the server business is going to Asia. So just because AB can make a product and get some ink doesn't mean that product can generate profit. Ask Cisco because I don't think they did much with Granite. Sun is going to sell wiz bang AMD servers and tell you they are different from other amd boxes. Its a pure commodity. The press will coronate this event and say the turnaround is a done deal. It isn't. There can't be enough differential in these servers because its all based on a standard design. Even the I/O is standard now...the disk controllers. The disk, the memory, the CPU, the motherboards. Please tell me how you make an AMD server that runs linux and windows appreciably better than the next guy.
