The rightwing has may gays in its midst. The difference is, they stay in the closet. In fact some of them won't even admit they're gay, they just do like Rush Limbaugh, turn into drug addicts and go through one wife after another, never finding a woman who holds their interest. In fact the biggest gay-haters are often gays themselves, like the infamous Roy Cohn and J Edgar Hoover who were both drag queens in private but persecuted America's gays in the 1950's.
