Don't jinx it. Al Qaida may have been involved in Spain, Russia, Turkey, Italy, certainly in Saudi Arabia and Indonesia, and definitely all over Iraq. 1600 Americans killed and 10,000 maimed. That's not a peaceful situation. As Bush said "bring it on!" and they did. Just not in the US again - yet.

The real question is, if Bush was warned about a 9-11 style hijacking in August 2001, why didn't he at least say one word about it to make sure it was being taken care of? And why didn't Rice say a word either? Or Ashcroft? Or anyone of them except Clarke? That is the real question.
