Realizing she wasn’t alive during World War II and perhaps she may have been absent on those days when her schoolmates were studying Nazism, I reminded her of some of Hitler’s more egregious crimes against humanity, suggesting she may have overstated the case. She had not; Scalia was worse. As I often did when my parents threatened to send me to my room, I let the conversation die... So what? Religious righties were telling the police surrounding the Schiavo hospice that Jesus hates them and calling them Pontius Pilate. Not one, but many. We're supposed to base our understanding of liberals on the basis of this guy's singular experience with a friend. Right! And btw why is that a liberal doesn't go around shooting righties but its not unusual for a rightie to take out a liberal? What's up with that? Most of our assassinations have been a rightie taking out a liberal leader. ted
