The Cherokee and the Apache and in addition all those Indian tribes you white Canadians overran had a native language that was discarded due to the political might of their enemy. Tell me when to start crying. Hey! I don't CARE what the Irish on that little island do. Got it? I've been there, I didn't lose anything, and I see no reason to go back. They want to cut their own throats? Fine with me. Joe, baby, I'm an AMERICAN. Not Irish. Got it? If through some screwy means it ever came to war between the countries, I know which side I'd take and it wouldn't be Ireland's. OK? Now you may think of yourself as an Irishman that lives in Canada. Fine; that's Canada's problem. But I'm NOT an Irishman who lives in the United States. I'm not IRA, Joe, and it'll be a cold day in Hades before they find me at one of their meetings.
