The church is meant to be a safe place for sinners, the condemned, etc., but more often than not, it becomes a big exclusive social club. Tony Campolo said it best: Christians ought to get out of the judging business. You are missing my point. Religion is human made dogma to guide thought and action...and that's not intended to be judgmental....much of the dogma is very admirable and noble, if broadly misconstrued. When the spiritual merges into organized political action, as is prevailing in the US today, the results are quite detestable. I suspect a backlash. Al
