Thinking also leads me to the conclusion that Chavez, who murders and jails his own countrymen who peacefully oppose him, is every bit the compassionate socialist that Stalin was. Undoubtedly, you would have defended Hitler in 1935; after all, he opposed the oppressive domination of Britain and France, and performed an economic miracle for his countrymen.
