"AFAIK, Israel is mostly secular" LOL! That's why Israel uses the religious Star of David on their flags and the Babylonian Talmud as their source of law (Israel still has NO constitution but the Talmud.) Israel was NEVER secular and was, from the beginning, conceived and created as a theocratic state based on the dogmas of the Babylonian Talmud. Rabbinic or Talmudic Judaism (the Judaism invented after the fall of the Second Temple) had a central obsession over the last two thousand years, and that obsession was the establishment of a Jewish racial/religious state in the Middle East. Again, Israel/Zionism was a quintessential religious/theological concept from the beginning, a concept that has NO valid biblical or historical foundation. Modern Talmudic Israel is the most fanatic fundamentalist religious state in the world!
