The survey of academia that Kurtz wrote about this week made me think of you, of course. I saw that. Doesn't look like a serious survey, just at first glance. Funded by a right wing outfit, so one needs to look much more closely at question wording, processes by which questions were aggregated, and the like. Because the results are in accord with their ideological wishes. Frankly, and we've done this to death, the politics of academia are terribly complicated. These kinds of simple minded, left versus right thingies, are a waste of time and, in some respects, you will love this, deliberately misleading.
