Bush and Condi both used the "mushroom cloud" line to dishonestly scare Americans into believing Saddam was a clear and present danger to our security. Now Bushies don't like to talk about WMD's or threats, just pretend to be altruistic defenders of Iraqi democracy. What a crock. The reason Bush Sr. didn't invade Iraq in 1991 was because we didn't WANT democracy there, too risky, as Islamic extremists would likely get elected. and as we know from the so-called Christian extrmeists in this country, theocratic mobs can be the biggest danger of all, spurring people toward terrorism. Randall Tery's group could morph into terrorists if we don't watch out. They are no less dangerous than Islamics in the long run.
