Who's Nelson? Yes, I do believe the GOP is polluted by the far right, and any moderate Republican should be alarmed. You don't make a deal with the devil just to call your party #1. You do the right thing for the country. Read Christie Todd Whitman's book. She underesttaes how Bush has staffed the EPA with pollution lobbyists and cronies. Now multiply that times a hundreds across the board. Corruption Inc. The takoever by greedy, narrow, unpopular special interests of most of our government. This is a crisis for any honest Republican and even worse for the rest of us. Together we are a majority. Bush only got elected because moderates backed him, but they should have second thoughts now.
