Now it becomes both our jobs as FP officianados to get the best deal we can for both ourselves and the three peoples. Thats why i say since iraq looks like yugoslavia post WW2 sans Tito, probably sans Hashemite legit alternative and certainly a difficult road to a democratic federal republic, we may some day have to deal with trying to set up not one but three somewhat democratic states. Think it can be done in kurd and shiaa areas. In the rump iraq sunni state, this will certainly be much harder to do. Mike
