Whether the masses want to pirate entertainment content or not you cannot let that continue for very long. The content providers lament the plight of the poor artist while the providers tend to own the content themselves and screw the artists. Also they have managed politically to extend copyright protection (look at Disney). I just hope that the web frees artists from the entertainment companies and yet provides them some protection for what they have created. I would like to see copyrights die after the artist and his children pass on rather than have a set number of years of life which the Disneys can continue to get the politicians to extend. OK, end of my rant for the day, Will

I think thunderbird which is the mozilla outlook product is ready for the masses. I'm the masses and I use it, anyway. And I think google is going to take the calendar function away and put it on the web with a worldwide meeting maker- this is extremely useful for people like me that have meetings with lots of different people that I work with daily but do not work in my office. Enough of this stuff flies out the door and the operating system is a lot less relevant. People will just go with whats cheapest and that is linux imho.
