My point exactly. If we wanted to we could find a lot of companies that lowered guidance (warned?) but most of us expected that would happen. Some did raise guidance but not that many. Probably what we are feeling is a sense of relief that these companies are doing as well as they are.

But how much of that is because there are fewer workers now being more productive? How much is because companies are still working with older but very capable equipment.

Just my two cents. Probably worth less than that!

I thought so, but the stock is up 4% this morning.
