That's not true. Its not uncommon to have a court turn down an appeal.

Courts do turn down appeals, but courts and judges are also prone to make up constitutional decisions that are not solidly based on the constitution.


Yikes! When did you become an authority on constitutional law?

If at any time, some one believes the courts have misinterpreted the constitution, they can appeal the ruling. Our system isn't perfect but its damn good!

It is also true, and also unfortunate, that the executive and the legislative branches of government will also twist the constitution around, or even totally ignore it, but the courts are supposed to be a check on such actions by the other branches. If the courts themselves twist around or ignore the constitution it is hard for the other branches to be an effective check on the courts.

I think you've listened to too many conservative pundits who don't like the court's interpretation of the Constitution......period.
