he trend only counts when it comes to one year government "revenue", not 4 year poverty trends? I'm not sure I understand your question so I'll just explain my statement. It's questionable whether a .4% reversal in a much longer 12% trend counts as a trend itself. Where are we going... seriously. Is this country making progress for falling behind? Overall we are making progress but in some things we aren't doing well. Think about this admin in total, objectively, you can't possibly support this shit. We are not that far apart... but we are both way far apart from the folks that are running the government at this point in time. On some issues your statement might be accurate, on other issues it isn't. I'd really have to deal with it on an issue by issue basis. I do think that often both supporters and attackers of the administration present everything as clearer and more decisive than things really are. Esp. when you are trying to predict the future, but even when you are trying to accurately describe the present, things are often more of a muddled middle than they are decisively great or awful. Tim
