Red lives in Redding believe, it or not. Here's a story from right down the street about a gun being USEFUL!

"HAPPY VALLEY -- A man described as a transient remained Wednesday in the Shasta County jail after an apparent burglary was interrupted by property owners, the Shasta County Sheriff's Department said.

Scotty Wade Lykens, 34, is accused of threatening Bob Kurpjuweit and Alan Reynolds with a knife after they found him Tuesday at their property in the 14900 block of Cobblestone Lane.

After a brief fight, Kurpjuweit and Reynolds held Lykens at gunpoint until deputies arrived, the Sheriff's Department said.

Lykens is being held on suspicion of robbery and burglary, a jail spokesman said. His bail is set at $50,000."

So a bad guy is caught, nobody was hurt and justice prevailed. A gun USED to hold for police. An EXCELLENT use.

You were wrong, eh? Sorry if calling you an idiot for being wrong hurt your feelings.
