I admit Gannon is just a sideshow. Gannon alone won't bring anyone down unless Rove is caught red-handed in a gay brothel, or unless the mainstream press dared to run with the gay hooker aspect of the case. But on the internet, the word will spread and spread. It is at least an undefensible embarrassment for the White House, even if Gannon weren't a gay hooker, just a phony journalist they planted to ask soft ball questions. It's at the very least subversion of the free press.
