Bush wants to pump even more money into SDI. It doesn't work because the 'enemy' can easily deploy dummy warheads and we can't figure out which one is the armed one. Aside from that, the last $100m test was SUCCESSFUL! After all, the military says, the rocket didn't blow up in space! It blew up in the silo. PNAC, after all, wants to militarize space. Yep, considering that the failure rate of patriots-hitting-scuds was 80%, you'd think the military would get the stuff up in the sky working correctly before they start sending nuclear tipped warheads into space. Follow the money. This is why we don't have enough for teachers, healthcare, roads, investment....it's going down the rabbit hole of war and stupidity.
