I couldn't believe it ended up in the green...Don't know why I can't get your links Terry, but maybe they are from a service you purchase... I can receive Vendits' links... When I had looked this morning earlier, it was down, and I just thought that was normal because of the rapid rise a couple of days ago..

That is the test of new support after the break-out of RSTG a few days ago that I told KLP was likely to happen.

The bounce signals a continuation of trend.

Terry, it's fascinating to watch them struggling over on the ELAN board. They don't want to give up. Seems to me with a case of PML in monotherapy in crohn's, who would bring the drug back on the market? Only in a very limited manner as a last resort drug in M.S. I imagine. It seems as they've watched the stock go down they've been trying to hold up their hopes.

Yeah.... RSTG was trading at about $5 in November, now well over $30.

Notice the wavelike patterns, and the tendency of RSTG to expand the BBs explosively, then allow them to drift back together tightly. I anticipate this will be repeated. So, we may well get another wave of expansion like we saw before, but then I suspect we will again see a prolonged consolidation phase that is mostly sideways.

RSTG provides a dramatic example of the "energy" that tends to build up in a very strong stock when the BBs get acutely contracted. This is one of the reasons I closely examine the width of the BBs. In general, the more acutely contracted the BBs, and the longer they are contracted, and the higher the relative strength, the greater the force of the breakout.

But note that this sort of thing usually happens in strong stock, not just any stock. So in the above chart, look at the relative strength compared to the Nasdaq 100 (the bottom technical indicator).

Now look at this chart. The BBs are not nearly as acutely contracted, but they are indeed contracted. Notice the relative strength compared to the Nasdaq 100:
