Far from it -- Bush lied about the quality of the intelligence we had -- our intelligence was lousy and he represented it as anything but

So Bush was supposed to overrule the Director of the CIA, who told him that the intelligence was good and he had a "slam-dunk" case? Bush was supposed to say, "nah, I know better, you're making up these dire warnings, Saddam Hussein is no threat"?

Is that what you seriously propose?
