Interest only ARMs have got to be about as leveraged as you can get in reference to monthly cost versus loan amount. Maybe when the market slows we will see six months same as cash (paid for by the seller) Does anyone know: 1. the term of these mortgages? 2. Whether they are available with a zero down? I know in Seattle a few years back it was not uncommon for a buyer to get an 80% loan that conformed and then get a second for the 20% down payment. Anyone know if they are doing this with the interest only ARMs?
