Penn must realize that there is and should be no basis for disciplining Black for his expression. While his actions may have been obnoxious, this is no justification for Penn to discipline this law student for expressing his views

Are deans not allowed to notice high levels of obnoxiousness, or to try to enforce a standard of civility on campus? Though it seems that CLS has hit the right tone, and if the prankster is now embarrassed by the attention he is getting (sounds like it to me), that is no more than he deserves for his sophmoric stunt.

I had to read that twice. Thought it read they got beat up, which made me think "what do you expect"? Go two blocks or so from Penn campus and it's the ghetto. <g>
