Regardless of what boundaries were violated in this particular case, my point is that political changes need to be made now on more than one front for those of us that might face a similar circumstance in the future. If anything positive comes out of this, it will be an evolving for the better in the laws. Why should my family take the chance of being charged with a crime carrying out my end of life wishes? I intend to linger and linger and linger(be a burden to my family) and then get better....but if that particular plan fails, I would prefer they dropped a cement block on my head instead of starving me. There has to be better legal options..This we agree on for sure.
