Good points

Regarding your comments "it is not communism they are practicing there anymore. It is fascism."

When I traveled in the major cities and talked with my colleagues in China, they felt the government has lost control in the urban areas. The situation isn't anything like what we had in the USSR as they have internet access and information is available. IMO, China is not a communist country any longer but it is heavily ruled by a single party. My impression is most people are happy with the direction of country. My view is limited as I only spent time with senior managers (upper classes?).

Not sure fascism is correct, perhaps add in a heavy dose of nationalism.

I agree with you on China emerging stronger. t4texas travels in China, so perhaps we can get him to weigh in on this.
