It's a wild accusation that Saddam had a long history of weapons development? On which planet?

You made the assertion that French intelligence said Saddam did not have WMDs.

The "reason" that France did not support an invasion was that their intelligence said no such thing

Now I am asking you to back up that assertion with a link to a statement to that effect by de Villespin or some French official.

Considering the desperation with which France was trying to stop the Iraq war, it would be rather extraordinary if they had such a statement from their intelligence, but didn't use it.
