BTW what was the reason for being with the Talmud.........to explain ambiguous portions of the Bible? Well, it started as that, but kinda transformed into the ranting and debates of a buncha Jews about everyday life. Its amazing how some people love to determine how all of us should live.........as if the Bible wasn't enough. <g> Elroy asked if the interpretation of the Talmud varies depending on geographic location. I thought it had more to do with the three divisions/sects of Judaism.....orthodox, conservative and reformed. Do you know the answer to that? Message 21187609; Got it! Thanks. ted
