Then it turns out that there are variants with multiple gene copies, some of which were not properly cleared. GMOs are one of the most widely deployed, yet least studied technologies out there. You work for them, if I remember right, don't you? If my company was to do this, we'd be visited by the FDA and people would be in jail. GMO is irresponsible the way it is being done in this country.
