Elmats Tehran photos: pg.photos.yahoo.com Just a few. I will put more there. Yiwu the snow capped mountin range is the Alborz - Damavand mountain range. The snow melts and is collected in three lakes. The lakes provide water to Tehran and distributes water downstream to farming. It does the same what the Sierra nevada does for California. My photos are the south face Alborz - Damavand. The face north is towards the Caspian Sea. In the Caspian Sea, joins several Istan (Turkmenistan etc) countries plus Turkey. Pakistan is at the East. Snow meting there go dwon to the Capsian Sea.
